Wheeler High School's academic teams performed well at the Purdue Northwest invitational. Our math team finished in third place and our science team took home the first place trophy. Congratulations to all team members!

Out of abundance of caution and the uncertainty of the timing of the weather, all UTSC schools will be on asynchronous learning today, Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
WHS astronomy students used a radio telescope to collect and measure emissions from hydrogen gas in the Milky Way galaxy. The Doppler shift of these signals allowed us to measure our motion within the galaxy, providing evidence that the galaxy is rotating.
Special thanks to Kelly Demichael-Dobias for talking to our HOSA students yesterday. She is a 2018 graduate and is in her 3rd year of IU Medical School.
Mitch Krolikowski finished 4th at The Crown Point Regional Wrestling Meet. He will wrestle Saturday at East Chicago HS for Semi-State.
