The Robotics team will not only ignite students’ building and coding skills, it will also allow them to build upon their problem solving skills. I am allowing both fourth and fifth grade students to be part of the team this year. If your child is interested, they will be asked to come to my classroom during lunch/recess to pick up a form to complete and return by Friday, September 9, 2022. I will have forms ready for them to complete on Friday, September 2, 2022.

During practices, students will be working together to build their robot. This year, the objective of the game is to score as many points as possible with the alliance partners next to them. Points will be given when discs are scored into the goal zone, robots touch the contact zones, or discs are taken out of certain zones.

Competitions are TBA until the season starts. We usually have two competitions that are not too far from the Valparaiso area. Meetings will be held from 8:00-8:40 with exact days during the week still undetermined. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me!
