January 13th through February 2nd, students will be reading chapters from our One School, One Book event, The Knight at Dawn. Books are coming home with the oldest sibling (one book per family) on January 13th. Every day we are asking students to read, I will link the video of a staff member reading aloud that night's chapter to parents via email and link it to the bottom of this article.
Each day, students will answer one trivia question. Students who answer all 10 trivia questions correctly will earn either an extra recess or game of dodgeball with Mrs. Klein and Mrs. Anderson!
Below is the calendar of events for each day. You will see there are weekly family challenges. Those students who participate in all four challenges (and turn them in on time) will be entered into a drawing to win one of our prize baskets of a book, activity, and goodies!
This event will culminate in our K-5 students going to WHS on Wednesday, February 4th to watch UTMS Theatre Group perform "The Knight at Dawn."
