The Spanish Club is an organization which promotes the Spanish language, culture, and traditions to members and thereby the school and local community. All students are invited to participate regardless of whether they currently study Spanish. The club aims to foster an appreciation for the food, language, dances, and celebrations of the many Spanish speaking countries. The club regularly enjoys celebrations with piñatas and unique foods such as: fried ice cream, flan, pan dulce, tacos & taquitos, and a salsa taste off where we sample varieties of over 20 salsas (store bought and homemade). We also travel to see dance exhibitions, culturally relevant movies, and soccer sporting events. Travel abroad opportunities are discussed and we proudly have more than 50 members. Please join us to celebrate the “mundo de español” and become a citizen of the world.
